Artificial intelligence and the rapid growth of data centers are changing how information is collected, stored and used. Join us for a timely presentation about the impact of these technologies on our communities, personal privacy and government accountability.
Maria Orms is a U.S. Air Force veteran, technologist and community advocate. From 1988 to 1994, she helped secure top-secret military communications systems around the world.
Maria holds a master’s degree in engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder and a master’s degree in cybersecurity from the University of Denver. Her priorities include:
- Government accountability and transparency
- Responsible oversight of AI and data centers
Maria is the mother of two daughters who have served or are currently serving in the U.S. Air Force. She lives in Parker, Colorado.
